Progress in Focus: August Recap with Scion Group! August was an exciting month for Scion, with strong progress across our current projects and a new acquisition to expand our pipeline. Here’s a look at what we’ve been working on: Chatham, West Ryde: Pre-Sales Achieved & Construction Progressing Chatham has officially hit its pre-sales target a major achievement as we continue to deliver this exceptional project for West Ryde. Proudly ICIRT and ISO accredited, with LDI adopted, Chatham gives our partners and community peace of mind through quality and reliable delivery. With presales secured, finance approved with ANZ, and our Construction Certificate complete, momentum on site is strong. All slab-on-ground pours are now finished, with the next pour set to take us completely out of the ground. Basement 1 slabs are being formed, reinforcing the shoring walls and allowing the temporary structural braces to be removed. From here, our focus shifts to the transfer slabs at Ground Floor - marking the beginning of the superstructure above! Hermitage, St Ives: Foundations Taking Shape Hermitage, our first senior living project in partnership with WINIM, continues to advance with great momentum. The shoring wall system is now complete including piling, capping beams, and shotcreting,and detailed excavation is underway. This progress allows our formwork team to begin installing the steel for the pad footings, which form the critical foundations of the building, including the stormwater pump-out pit designed to safely manage future water flow. Next, we move into slab-on-ground preparation, taking us one step closer to coming out of the ground. We’re proud to see such strong progress early in the program and look forward to delivering this milestone project for St Ives! Homebush: New Acquisition Secured We are pleased to announce the acquisition of a prime site in Homebush, further strengthening our growing pipeline of developments. March, 2025: Celebrating Key Milestones and New Beginnings at Scion Group March has been an exciting month for Scion Group, with two major milestones marking significant achievements in our portfolio. We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our Sterling Lane Cove project, which has officially received its Occupation Certificate (OC). This marks a major accomplishment for the team, as we hand over the project to our client. Sterling features 50 meticulously crafted residences and is backed by 10-year latent defect insurance, a first for the Lane Cove North area. This residential apartment development represents our commitment to high-quality design and construction, and we are proud to see it reach its final stage. Scion welcomes the monitoring and enforcement of these standards which ensure consumer satisfaction and industry improvement. The commissioner has been appointed to ensure that buildings in NSW are designed and constructed to meet the required safety standards. The aim is to reduce the number of incidents of building failures and improve the safety of buildings in the state. One of the main tasks of the commissioner is to regulate the building industry in NSW. This involves working with the industry to develop and enforce building codes and standards that are consistent across the state. The commissioner also oversees the licensing of builders, contractors, and other building professionals to ensure they are qualified and adhere to the appropriate regulations. The commissioner had also undertaken a major role in, investigate building defects and take appropriate action to ensure that they are rectified. This includes identifying and addressing defects in existing buildings as well as preventing them from occurring in new constructions. To achieve these goals, the NSW building commissioner has implemented a number of initiatives. These include: 1. The establishment of the Building and Construction Commission: This is a regulatory body that oversees the building industry in NSW. It has the power to investigate and take disciplinary action against builders who breach regulations. 2.
